Lol. Oh no an unfortunate purchase. Hopefully they have a back porch they will be able to enjoy. Or I guess they could put a sign up like "no hookers here!" Haha

This was true insofar as the events were related from her to Scott and from him to me--I wasn't present when they spoke.

Oh, what a story!. I hope explained to her the history of the house being on of "ill reputel" Maybe she should put up a white picket fence and add a swing and other toys (even if she doesn't have children) to signify that the house has changed ownership. The person who sold the house surely didn't give full disclosure about the house's past. judi

Hi Elizabeth,
It's good to see that we're not all confined to pig status. It appears that you have a pretty good relationship with your friend Scott, and you've always treated me fairly. It's unfortunate that a certain percentage of the population of men have given up their moral principals and given all of us a bad name. Frankly, in all honesty, I really admire a good looking gal, and no doubt my heart is filled with lust at times, but I can honestly say I've never resorted to behavior that would discredit my upbringing. By the way, I do like the picture of Norma Jean. Have a great day gal.

Tom

now that's funny. Poor Jane, but I think she was right--all men are pigs, at least that's what my wife claims!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And my feminist daughters (4). I'm outnumbered and therefore stereotyped with a furious vengeance.

LOL Poor Jane. I think that should have been disclosed when they either bought or rented the house. I would certainly have liked to know before if it were me. I am glad Scott helped with this information. LOL

If I wake up feeling a little blue, I just need to read one of your stories, Liz, to get my morning chuckle. This is hilarious! But, if it's true I sure feel sorry for Jane.

Hello Liz.
Well that is an unfortunate situation she has to deal with. Maybe it's time to consider putting a screen around the porch so no one can see in. Otherwise she'll have to sit on the back porch.

This is a sixer if I've ever read one. But as I get tired of saying, but I'm sure not nearly as much as you get tired of learning, they just don't give us enough and I'm almost always out by Sunday or Monday. And of course, those of you who post multiple posts a day, there is no way to honor your talents and hard work appropriately. But I'm a fan that looks forward to reading anything you post. Thanks for sharing.

A very well-written and truly creative story both in the description of Jane and her hesitancy to engage in conversation with Scott. The reason for the catcalls by men is a great surprise and ending.
Regards,
Mary

Oh my... Renter beware!

thank heavens they only passed by. What happens when they come knocking at the door? Definitely a pickle!

Well told! And of course, Scott had the answers. LOL
