I did very much enjoy your trip through the self-help shelf at the book store. I must admit your titles are more interesting than the ones found here in the boondocks. Such as:
How to Carve a Deer into Steaks: without getting blood on your shoes. Thank goodness I'm vegetarian.
You Can Still Get Trapped in an Abandoned Gold Mine: there ain't no gold in them hills, but there's plenty of eyes.
Lots to noodle over here, and what a great read. You should start a contest, or not. Maybe someone else will. :))

Schadenfreude-Glad to come across a German word after a long time. I studied German at Goethe Institut in Germany ages ago and could read write and speak german to some extent. Thanks for sharing and yes, there's something comforting at least to know that you're not alone in the suffering (what you said earlier) and I don't think that's quite Schadenfreude (what you concluded with).
