This would be a lot funnier if it weren't true! It's so stupid what goes on here with these "contests." When the same people win and you see that they're the only one receiving sixes from "reviewers" who review only their posts, it becomes pretty evident what's going on. It's a sad testament to their ability to trust their talent. They'll only "win" if they vote for themselves multiple times. Voter fraud: it's not just a national problem...

I've been on this site since 2007, and I could not fathom having more than one account, let alone then voting for myself two or three times! I must be "densely thick" indeed! (By the way, "densely thick" is an awesome phrase!)

Thank you for the great review, Diane. I don't know if this really happens or not but I was reading some negative stuff online about FS and someone mentioned something like this. Then I got to thinking about it and a couple questions arose about a member or two that seems a little suspicious. Lol. Hopefully not. Really just goofing around like I usually do. What (legally) would you suggest, to make it fair without having to spend hundreds of dollars; on promoting work that may be lack lustre but otherwise not seen to be reviewed?

There must be a way to make it a fair system. I'm not saying that those highly ranked writers don't deserve their place but it is so expensive to make your work visible enough to receive accolades. I proved it this week. Two otherwise ordinary poems of mine received Recognised and All time Best status. I've written much better work and it doesn't get a mention. It's an unfair system for those who can afford it. I did still have a chuckle at the silliness. All the best - PM

Interesting write using the required words. I paid for a year and will stay but it rubs me the wrong way to pay for reviews-I want people to review my work because they choose to, not for the member dollars earned. Anyway-well expressed.

Some folks on here actually do review for the content and skill rather than the cash it pays. Yet, there's many who go the other route. Thank you for the great review and generous stars, equestrik. I'm glad you liked this silly piece.
