This story draws mixed emotions. It is almost juxtapositional. The setting is lovely yet there is a deep sadness in the tone. Many readers will be drawn in with the setting and characters.

Ah, this is also a late romantic flash fiction tale involving senior citizens. This is a smart move. A writer must know his audience. Having a grasp of FanStory's demographics and including them in your tale is the sign of a smart writer.

-I like the Victorian
feel of it with Lady Jayne
and the Marquis.
-Effective nature imagery
and romance, although Jayne
was not too receptive at first.
-But it seems that might have
changed a little when the sun
peered through a cloud.
