Aw the poor man. Why are the innocents the ones that get targeted by these criminals? They just don't know what they are getting roped into until it's too late. This time, at least, Dwayne had the Blind Girl to deal with and she understood he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Now they have to get that slimeball before he gets her. Another excellent chapter, Sal, things are progressing slowly, but with each little clue, they are sure to get the culprits. Well done, my friend. Warm hugs, Sandra xxx

Oh dear, Sally, he got away, didn't he? This is another great chapter and I really enjoyed it. You write it at a wonderful pace, and the dialogue is natural. Now I'm waiting to reading along. Ulla xxx

Another exciting chapter, Sal.
Both sides are aware of the other being close at hand... and the poor truck driver...or maybe I should be more concerned about your boots. It doesn't pay to get all dressed up any more. LOL
Hopefully, we will soon learn which one gets the upper hand first... or whether Tony the Tiger will slip away once again.
Smiles, Carol

What rotten luck. He slipped away before they had a chance to catch him. No telling what's up next. An evil person can be so devious! But at least Sally was aware of him being near. I feel sorry for the driver.

I sure hope they can figure out that Tony is attempting to stay at the hotel. I know that would be too simple. LOL I do enjoy reading this story.
Tony Alfanzi continued on script. "Where would we be without our mother's love?" (comma needed after script)

Detective Sally is so close to closing in on Tony the Tiger. He too feels he is in luck when he recognizes that she is in this town. Who will come out on top is anybody's guess.

There goes my shoeshine, speckles and flakes. But at least you had me feeling like I was right there in the moment, as always. Thanks for sharing another fine chapter.
