I say that you have an excellent question, yes Love can stay as long as you have one to love you. Or you love a person or a pet.

Good question. Is it a real connection? It depends on what perspective you take I suppose. Chemical things happen for sure but true love would be absence of fear from the negatives. Rejection, harm, hurt.
Funny how you used the grinch. Obviously for humour and making the point. Feeling a little grinchy? :)

A very cute and well presented poem with a big question. Love is an enigma that inspired poets for centuries - but no poet, philosopher or scientist could ever explain love. Some say love is a chemical reaction in a body - it changes the adrenalin content in the blood. I tend to believe this version versus many others.
Great imagery, visuals and artistic presentation. You packed volumes in these 4 lines.
