Wow, that sounds like someone with a death wish. I used to know more than a few people who would have taken your friend's head and whoever was with him. Young people do tend to live on the edge.
Interesting story.

Thanks for the review. He was pretty tough so I doubt the honey mooning couple from New Jersey would refuse the cover, haha.
Back in the day the Caribbean club was a biker bar, no glass in the windows, live bands etc ....and a spectacular view of Keys sunset every night.
Have a nice Sunday, cheers, j

Spot on at 50 words. Very amusing--more so that this is true! Devious doings, masterfully divulged in this delightful tidbit. Love to hear more on Captain Bob!

Haha, it was worth the $5.00 cover just to be in his orbit. He was a Viking~like guy from California that used to ride with Hell's Angels and was running a charter boat from Key Largo to the Bahamas. I was first mate and cook for 3 years with him, then we came up north to Vermont and built my cabin.
I have written a few pieces about our life, one with a pic of us on the sail boat. He always wore Hawaiian shirts and Bahamas straw hat. He died of cancer a few years ago.
