I love reading about all of your pets, Beth. The variety of breeds and personalities made a great story. This sentence gave me a big chuckle: "She spent her riding time snapping at dust mites, lit up by sunlight." Great job.

Than you, Judy. I so liked reading about my dogs. The dust mite thing was something that surprised me. I had to look close to see what she was so busy snapped at.

Your life seems to be surrounded by animals. This is a most entertaining animal story but I think we had an extra one work him/herself into the final paragraph. I had got used to to Mitsy in n the previous paragraph when Misty made a surprise appearance in the final one.

Thank you for the review and nice comment. I glad ;you found it entertaining. I really appareciate your noticing the misspelling of Mitsy's name. I'm fingers seem to have a mind of ther own when it comes to transposing letters.

Yes, our Tiki acted the same way. She was scared of thunder and harsh weather. Her so-called bravery got her killed by a Rockwaller. You handle the nose bite better than I would have.
Nothing wrong with this write. Getting to know you better.LOL.

Thank you Chuck, I appreciate the review. I hope what you're learning about me, doesn't make me appear too much of nut case. LOL

A very interesting narrative. I can see why you would entitle the series; "Perils of Pet Owner." I don't know what your plans are for these stories but I can envision some definite possibilities. This might make a nice live action or animated series on Animal Planet. I would further suggest that you either develop a smoother transition between the stories about each subsequent pet or separate the stories as a type of diary or anthology series. The way they are presented here feels a little disjointed. If you were to combine these stories/entries into a book you may wish to dedicate a different chapter to each pet. You might also consider doing a series of articles for a blog or magazine like "Cat Fancy." The possibilities here are quite numerous. If you have any skill at drawing you might even consider a comic strip. Thank You for sharing this. Well done!

Thank you for the review and the comments and suggestions. You brought up some things I hadn't considered, but they are very good ideas. I was a art major but i've never thougt of doing a comic strip.

Although I am not much of an dog person, but I do enjoy these stories that you write. Sometimes we find exceptional favorites and have fun with them. It is too sad when they die and difficult to replace.
You've done an excellent job of coping with these animals and bringing them up, along with your children.
Another enjoyable read. Thanks.
