I stopped by late last night for a look at this and was very pleasantly surprised.
I'm not much of a Sci-fi or Fantasy reader, and I guess I thought this would be a bad imitation of a "Chronicles of Narnia" type of thing--not that I've read or know anything about that work either.
I was absolutely floored!
Very engaging, quick-paced, and extremely well-written! Not one single flaw in the writing, which is a huge tell to me, because it means you've spent hours upon hours polishing your work.
You really know your craft and are one terrific writer. I wish you all the best with your work!

"The Chronicles Of Bethica" has quite an opening told by Melitah all about her homeland, Ndornah. It was so full of detail, I felt of it as a wonderful fairytale. Also, a fun read was the scary temptation to drink a new wine. Well done.

A very well written chapter. I really like the story within the story and the history the sisters provided. That story shows how fickle men and the gods are. You also did well showing the difference in personalities of the sister. One brash, and outspoken and the other cautious and measured.

Well, it looks like Ndornah is starting to come around and be more sociable. There was a good history of the sister's life comingled with a lot of god-lore, which adds richness to the overall story. It was a good breather after the tension of the last chapter.
