I have to review Chapter 8, even though I have missed from 2 to 7.
I will be catching up soon. It appears that Detective Sally is dodging an adversary as she closes in on the Cold Case, which she feels she is slowly progressing to the solve. There are new concerns with the news and it would seem there are many tentacles that may loosely connect with the
case and Olivia

Not knowing where I had come in, regarding the story, I was sure this would be a five star for me at this time, but I was surprised as to how many god points I noted. Broad, not narrowed right down to the red thread, it had aspects of life around it. From the simple things, to the catchy phrases, to the important, you had it all.
When getting into this, I am sure it will read even better.
My best wishes.

Looks like the hairs on the back of Sally's neck and King's are bristling... wonder how slick our bad guy is... will he get away in time or will King has him for lunch? And the visit to Olivia.... will it happen and will they learn that she's their missing girl? So many questions hanging in the air...Wonderful and thrilling chapter.
Always wishing you the best, Carol

And we know who by, too! That might cause problems for one of them. We are collecting some nice bits of information now, and hopefully we'll know soon if that young girl who'd been assaulted is in fact Camille Jean-Baptiste. That would be a break-through. Now, what will Sally get King to do? Sniff him out, or tell Lieutenant Miles what she senses. I'll have to wait and see. Well done again, my friend, this is another great chapter!! :)) Sandra xx

It is an interesting coincidence that Al's Barbecue is the place the trucker decided to take Tony Alfanzi. Now apparently, he has seen Sally and is zeroing in on her. She has a very highly developed sense of intuitiveness as well as her dog. I'm looking forward to reading more soon.

The bad stopped for lunch too with the truck driver. This can't at all be a good thing. I really do like this story and can't wait until next Sunday to read more. You are doing a good job writing.

Wee doggie! Now you are in the crosshairs. I got tickled at your description of the Texas Oli driller. Dwayne Cooper was the picture of a Texas oil rig driver: trucker cap, tattooed arms, and burley chest that stretched his work shirt to the max. 'Big D' had a place in mind, etched in his food memory.
It looks like my son -in law who is an oil driller. LOL.
gOOD ONE sAL.
