This is kind of a shout of joy and a tale of how the grass is always greener on the other side of the road. It seems people are always looking forward to something better; when its cold they look forward to summer, when its hot they look forward to winter, and when they are told to wear masks they complain and when they are told they don't have to they are scared of the non maskers. estory

I'm with you--done with the masks--so many still wear them outside alone in the heat--clever bit about beoming one with the asphalt--did you read Helen's poem about the melted asphalt? What do you mean by summers plus 47?

It's a crazy world out there for sure, Iza. All the time we were told do this, don't do that, and now people are doing what they want. Your words are well chosen. I like the Alpha, Beta, Zeta, Delta line. I hope your travel plans are not impacted and you get to see your family.

We are coming out of lockdown in two weeks time. It hasn't afftected me much, what with writing. We go out walking and we don't wear masks, as we don't have to. Only in shops. Whether that stops completely, I don't know, but I think I will continue with them for a while. I've had both my jabs and I'm getting a booster in September. It's weird how this is effecting the whole world, and yet there are still some people who won't have the vaccine. I'm happy for you that Alberta is free of it, and you can now move around more freely. I hope it remains that way for you. Warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

I think we should try to get a life.....but the variants are around and perhaps are causing some question as to the vaccine. Thank God we are vaccinated so the problem won't lie with us.

You are fortunate that all restrictions have been lifted in Alberta. We are enjoying much more in Ontario, but are opening cautiously, learning a lesson from previous lifting of restrictions. I have no issue with wearing masks until the majority of people are fully vaccinated and the risk of Delta spreading is crushed. Stay safe.

There is research out there that proves masked actually do more harm than good. One reason, you are being forced to breath carbon dioxide, and Second reason, your mask becomes filled with germs. Our governments are lying to us.

I ready to forget there ever was such a thing as Covid and I definitely don't want to have to put a mask back on. I can stand the heat but I need oxygen in my lungs and those masks don't allow enough in. I didn't Romania was hot but having grown up in the south I don't think I would mind. I like your sassy way of writing. You sound like a fun person to be around.

Oh yes you speak truth here! Thank you for sharing your thoughts from your chapter book. I love the title "get a life". I do enjoy the freedom of breathing fresh air and not feeling the heat that encompasses us by being masked up along with the scorching heat during the month of July.

Good morning, Iza... It's already hot enough my friend, don't get your blood pressure boiling. In my opinion (which isn't worth much) each person should decide for themselves how to react to the virus... wear a mask if you want or not go out... and if you prefer to be free from the restrictions, then know that the results are what you chose.
