I really enjoyed reading your story. You have such a wonderful way with words and are quite adept at expressing yourself. I found this writing to be very interesting. It held my attention throughout. Very cute, and very inciteful. I think the sense of common sense is the most important of all. So many are lacking in common sense, they just don't think before jumping into things.

Nice work in fine rhyme--extra credit, let's hope. I'm with you--I'm in terror at the prospect of going blind. I'd choose smell--but bear in mind, you lose much of taste along with it. Food for thought!
