This twelve-word poem, Silent Footsteps, has the proper word count and allows that deception and confusion often work together to make lies seem like truth.

Very deep and thought provoking! I appreciate not only the words, the meaning and symbolism behind them, but also the image provided... Very amazing in so few words.

that's good and very true.
If the position of "companion" was not intentional, you might highlight the whole poem then click the "center" symbol. It would line it up, but then you probably know that.
But I like your message!

This is a neat statement and more poetic perhaps than one at first realises. I found the joint imagery of 'silent footsteps' and 'keeping Confusion as his constant companion' to be most compelling.

This is an excellent 12 word poem that meets the criteria for the contest. It is very well thought of. It is assertive of the fact that deception creates confusion. I like it! Well done! Goodluck in the contest!
