I am so sorry for this trouble that you have. It is most definitely difficult to bear and I know it is extremely hard to have faith in these conditions. But, please pray, that God will spare you any more hurt and ask for belief if that is what you need.
I will pray with you.
Beautiful poem of expression.
Best of luck.

Thank you for writing the powerful and honest piece you have penned for the contest. I love how raw you are and I think it is very brave. I'm sorry for you and your son. Stay strong. HE does care

Wow that is a shame but satan is making you blame God. That is not good. I told my son this week it pleases satan when you down grade God. He allows things to happen to draw us close to him. I know how you feel though when I had my last child he had PKU and I went through a lot to keep his levels down. But I prayed and kind of knew that maybe it was the wrong I done but he is a healthy man now. Don't let satan get the praise. Because its because of our sins we have to go through this. Trust God when satan sees you down you please him we don';t want that.

you are so welcome. Bless your heart. I would rather have your child then to have a healthy one to grow up and die and go to hell. At lest when he dies or when the Lord comes he will go with Him. This could be why God gave you this son with this condition because He knew that he could had grown up and got out into the world and lost his soul. I would much rather have a sick child who will be in heaven no matter what than a healthy one who could lose his soul. So love him and thank God for him and that he is sheltered under the blood no matter what. Praise Jesus huh. He is God's child. God loves him. Jesus weeps when we weep, not satan. Take care and if he understand a bet tell him I love him because he belongs to God.

I'm so sorry, for this burden that you've been bearing, that you've been courageous enough to share in this poem. I also have had fervent prayers that have not been answered as I wished, at least not up until now.
It has been said that God's answers to a prayer can be "yes," "no" or "wait." But a "no" or a "wait" do not mean that he isn't listening.
I agree that it is discouraging. But I won't give up, even though it hurts to see a loved one suffer. How would my giving up on God benefit anyone? Who would I turn to? Remember that in the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus prayed three times that God would take the "cup of suffering" from him -- "Yet not my will, but yours, be done." He knew there was a greater purpose. It didn't make it any easier, but He is our example.
This world is so full of suffering, and it is so very heartbreaking, yet we know it all started with the devil's temptation, with evil and with sin, or a turning away from God. We need more of Him, not less. There are many things we don't understand, this side of Heaven. I will pray for your son, too. Jesus has not forgotten you, or him. He is interceding with the Father on your behalf. Please continue to believe in His goodness and His love -- there is nothing else! He is still worth believing in. He sees you now.

You're very welcome, anonymous writer. I write to you from my heart. I prayed for the both of you, in a (telephone) prayer meeting tonight. It is a weekly meeting where people really pour out their hearts. It's not my home church, but I'm honored to be welcomed there. May God greatly bless you, my friend. May He pour out His blessings in abundance, upon you and your son.
