I love this poem. I dated a man once whose fav song was this one. That's true love when someone adores another, choosing her, forsaking all others, knowing she's the best in his world.

Now that is what I call quick thinking! It reminds me of my own dear husband (RIP) whose mind was as swift as this clever fellow's. Never at a loss for a quick quip (or a smart remark) he had a joke or a funny story about almost anything.
Mind you it got him into trouble as often as it got him out, but he was irrepressible. This is a neat, snappy joke told in a calm, laconic way.
