Cleaning the clown's nose is a funny poem and funny enough for the contest. I wouldn't think cleaning someone's nose would be very sanitary. Put a glove on the kid's hand. LOL Good luck with the contest.

Haaa. What a most amusing poem. I have never heard of this clown act before, but it sounds like one that would really get the kids roaring with laughter. There is nothing funner than a growing nose that needs to be put back into place with a tissue.
Great, good fun. It rhymes and was a thorough delight to read.

Reminds me of a song I used to sing when I was little
Eli, Eli, he sells socks
A dollar a pair, five cents a box
The longer you wear them, the shorter they get
Put them in the water and the don't get wet.

Very good for children. I think a little more punctuation would be in order. I think this is the first poem I have reviewed that rhymes. I am looking forward to more rhyming.

Hating circuses and clowns as I do, made me curious to read this. I wondered if you would make the clown funny or sweet. I think You made the clown perfect for a child and with the added thrill of being the chosen audience member, I don't think you would give anyone nightmares. Good luck in the contest!
