This beautiful nature poem would great for the middle graders. Your poem has a consistent rhythm scheme and meter. Children will love talking about the "little ones" in nature and perhaps can talk about their experiences with them. Your choice of artwork is also very good and enhances your poem. Overall it is an excellent and delightful poem.
