I'm sure Scott (or you) could write a book about delinquent vacuum cleaner owners. Why she owes him for storage so he should just sell it and take a finders fee. That was too long a blast from the past. LOL

This is another funny one. I figure congress could use a dirt devil. From what I hear on the news there is a lot of dirt there and some of the members have been prerry devilish in the actions.

Lol! Poor Scott - again! I'm starting to say that for all these Scott stories. Is Katherine Clark that popular? I looked her up and she has a great smile. Maybe she can put in a good word of advertising for Scott until she goes to retrieve her vacuum.

Did he remember when she had brought the vacuum cleaner in for repair? Wait, was she the grape lady? Or, or the one who pulled out all his plants in the front yard? LOL, what with his and Bill's pranks on each other and all the tall tales in that family, nothing would surprise me. Scott is a goldmine for stories, though, isn't he?

Ha ha ha, this story made me laugh, she must have bought a new vacuum cleaner during that time and your friend had better just sell the one he repaired! I love that he calls his customers delinquent and when I worked in customer services many years ago one of the engineers said that the public are all mad, it is just the degree of madness you need to watch out for! Ha ha ha, most of them lost their temper, love Dolly x

Lol! Yes, that's a long way to go for her to pick it up - and a very long time for him to keep it for her! He should have asked her permission to sell it! That would save her the petrol money! I've been saying for EONS that all politicians ought to "clean house"---granted it was more a political rant than a comment on the dereliction of "suck it up" duty (of which I am equally culpable!)--- Poor Scott! I wonder if there's some statute that says if a customer doesn't claim property after X number of months...(YEARS?)---they forfeit all rights! It ought to be a law! I know! Maybe the esteemed congresswoman can introduce it!

My daughter is spending her weeks vacation in and around Salem, in mid August! That's fairly close to you, right?
