Willie: nice love story, one which many people would want to experience but sometimes life just gets in the way . . . You say that "I am a believer of rhyming poetry. Other styles are a story." But, when you write poetry with sentences, capital letter at the beginning and periods at the end of each line or sentence . . .makes this seem more like a story to me. Just a notation. Linda

The poem is very sweet. I found your words both created a picture and told a tale of love. The only distraction I found was that some of the letters were cut off because of the font or the size of the font. It caused me to lose the flow when I read.

What a wonderful poem about a teenage romance. I'm sure this was a bit more than puppy love. Outsiders should never doubt young love. It's the innocence that carries the flame. Best, JohnC

Hello Willie,
This is an excellent poem with very good rhymes; like better/wed her.
That first kiss is always special and, if we're lucky, all the others are the same.
I remember Paul Anka had a song called Puppy Love. Adults just don't get it.
