There are a few parts where the piece sputters kind of like an old truck - other than that slight bump in the road, I thought this was a well constructed piece and I liked the way you managed the truck names into it. Great work and good luck. Later daze.

Having driven Cadillacs for over 20 years I never appreciated a pickup truck until my son bought one while in college. Everyone should have one! Cute poem.

I looked at a Toyota,
But drove off in a Dodge Dakota,
Two hundred thousand miles later,
I'm back in a Ford Ranger

A lot of people love to drive pickup trucks in the countryside apart from commercial trucks. Being on the road for long hours isn't easy. It's tiring and tough at times when you're away from home for a long time. Music usually will help you fight the blues and enjoy your road trip. I enjoyed your well-written ode to the truck. Good luck in the contest!
