Rare is the writer who shares such wisdom as you do on a regular basis. That is why I try to read everything you write. I also like to read your poems aloud to my granddaughter to give her nuggets of wisdom to live by. Thanks for sharing.

I love this poem for its rhyming scheme and for your awesome word choices. I like many lines but these two are my favorite:

I sure agree with you that if we have peace and harmony life is much better. If there's no turmoil at home or elsewhere, life is always at its finest. A way of living we want to always experience.

I cannot imagine living in such a way the we would not have peace of mind. I am so blessed to be alive yet at the age of 83.

Yes, life doesn't last a long time for some but others seem to last forever. It is always good to feel you have lived your life well when you know your time has come.
