First of all, that's a very nice presentation. I like the color scheme. your words describe perfectly the scenery and the feel in the photograph. Good luck in the contest!

I like it! It definitely Evokes some feelings that come with sunrise without actually talking about them which is great. At first I didn't get the last line but on second read understood it better and added a new layer

I really liked the poem, but I do not think this met the haiku criteria. I read it as 3, 6, and 5 syllables rather than 5, 7 5.

    For this contest, you are challenged to write a Haiku poem. Haiku is a form of poetry that only uses three lines. A popular format is to have the first line contains five (5) syllables, the second line have seven (7) syllables, and the third line contains five (5) syllables, but a strict syllable count is not required.
