I enjoyed reading this piece Jesse. It's got a very positive lilt. The picture suits it perfectly. When we go the the River Murray, about 2 or 3 hours from home, it is so peaceful and beautiful. The birds raise their voices every morning just like yours. Cheers Franky

Thank you, Franky, for this surprising review. I didn't expect to read a review today and, it is a pleasant undertaking to reply to it. I am happy you enjoyed reading this prose piece. River Murray sounds lovely and a peaceful place to visit. Hearing birds singing is always a real treat. Since I have insomnia, I get up very early...last night, I had three hours of sleep. My doctor is researching what medication to give me to help with this problem. In the meantime, I spend hours on Fan Story and writing new prose pieces to post. I have fun, so it isn't that bad.
    Have a wonderful upcoming week!

God! This poem Is so touching. It moved me. It really did. You will be up walking with those sticks soon. I am going to pray for you and my prayers are heard. I am going to intercede for you and send god a message. Its time for you to walk.

This review has moved and touched me as well. I am grateful for your generosity in giving me six stars for this post. I am at a loss for words on what to say regarding your selfless act of praying for me to walk again. All I can say is thank you so much.

The beginning shows your love of and the joy and inspiration you get from nature. A new day dawning always is a sign of hope. I hope that you will be able to use those walking sticks soon too.
One possible edit. I don't think you can listen to sights of sunrise as your compound sentence infers. I think maybe you should add watch the before sights.
Keep writing and stay healthy
Joan

Yes, I have hope, and I will be using those walking sticks as soon as possible.
As far as your suggestion is concerned, I have considered it, thoughtfully, and decided to keep it the same way.
I shall keep writing and continue to stay as healthy as I can.
    Have a great day,

You have a very positive and optimistic attitude. I like these words:
"Oh, the majesty at the coming of a brand new day!
With it, comes the possibilities for adventure and dreams fulfilled!" I hope you soon are able to walk those trails.

I live in the city now; birds and other nature songs must compete with roaring Harleys, cars, and Eight-wheelers. But your writing gave me fond memories of my childhood waking up to the morning bird songs. I must say, once last week. around 4 am, as few cars crept by, a single gull sang a melody. I peep through the bedroom curtains a watched him for a while. Thanks for the memories.

You're welcome for the memories, Amahra.
I grew up in the suburbs of So Cal, right next to the 405 freeway, and it roared traffic nearly all the time...but in the wee early hours of the morning, I could hear a few birds singing their songs to beat the band! Thank you for the memories of my childhood. I appreciate you sharing your story.
    Have a great afternoon,

I am an early riser and love sitting out side on my back porch with a cup of tea and listen as the birds wake up. It's a wonderful sound. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Dear James,

Sorry was away, missed a few. What a lovely prose piece! I find your depiction of the bird sounds real. Indeed, you are so right to stress other senses sharpen once one of them dulls in a magical way to compensate..I so wish for you to be up and about in no time.

Heartfelt,
Well done,
DJ

Nature is also a big part of my own self improvement journey. Nature has so much to offer and your descriptive words show how the sounds of the birds are soothing and are a great way to begin the day. Excellent essay that encourages the reader.
