When I was in my twenties, I had several blocks to walk when I got caught in the rain. Even though I was drenched, I thought of Gene Kelly and started singing. I felt better as I walked. Your delightful poem reminded me of that incident. You were able to used all four words in the first stanza. Well done. Your poem flowed nicely and told a story. Best wishes in the contest.
