A wonderful and comical poem for the little ones.
Especially liked how it was inspired by your family trip. No doubt your children are getting the best education.

Hate those guys. They love me too. Don't you think they are getting bigger? Home remedies for itchy, apple cider vinegar- dab it on with cotton ball, or baking soda and water to a paste and plaster it on. I found these 2 foot tall incense that were for mosquitoes, just put a couple away from busy areas and they are gone. Best I've found for outside.
Loved the fact that someone else was dealing with their bites and not me. sorry

I LOVE your buggies - but they do tend to bite, but just a teeny little bit...Neosporin...CBD oil - they help to keep one from scratching. You Brits have the coolest parks and things to do and see... I envision myself climbing a tree and I fall off laughing...

Yes a nice humorous touch to these stanzas to remind us of some of the dubious joys of the Summer season and those 'Buzzing little beasties'- great pic to illustrate

So you thought that being in a tree would hide you from mosquitos. They find you anywhere. I hope you weren't to uncomfortable for too long.
I like the artwork.
Keep writing and stay healthy

Interesting outdoor experience with our favorite insect, the annoying vampires who love our blood. It was a delightful two stanzas with end rhyme, aabb. Up thirty feet, I doubt you were able to swat the little beasties away let alone feel them feasting on your legs. Great poem!

Dab with tea tree oil and no scratching! It makes it double in size. Aloe gel and colloidal silver first aid spray work wonders as well. I hope you were able to have fun. Sending you my best today as always, dear Debra.

    Hi Sal :)
Thank you for your advice - I have applied tea tree oil and the bites are losing their power, it seems! The skin around them isn't as tight and hot as it was earlier. Best wishes as always, Debra x

Cute little poem. I sympathise - you must be as tasty as I am. Those darn buzzing little beasties cause much aggravation, but the activity above the forest floor sounds like a fun thing to do.

This is just so much fun, Debra. There is a real battle going on here between those nasty buzzers when a person is just trying to have a nice day out.

I love everything about this fine poem, and sorry to hear about the itchy bites.
