I looked it up. I have heard of the name Leonidas, and I see St. Joe*s River starts at Lake Michigan. Looks like a nice plac3 on Google.

Sounds interesting. You certainly saw several parts of the world, not all of them tourist spots. It's interesting to read about other people's travels, as I've never been outside of the U.S., except to Canada. They say being in the military gives you a chance to see the world, and in your case it surely did. Happy travel writing. judi

Sounds interesting. I am wondering if you were involved in the Gulf War when you mention Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. My children and I were evacuated from Riyadh prior to the Gulf War. My husband had to stay to complete his contract. Thanks for posting.

This should be interesting. I will follow in your footsteps, Bill as you retrace your travels .I only went O/seas once to the USA. It was 26 years ago before I became a grandparent. One of the first things my (Ex) daughter-in-law said to me
welcoming me back home was " You're going to become a grandma!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" She laughed at my expression and said, "At last I've found something to stop you in your tracks."
Twenty six years later her "baby bump" is a qualified teacher with an enjoyable career ahead of her. I look forward to your future postingswith happy anticipation. cheers Cass
