A lovely story about Bozo. I have a similar story about a border collie when I was a boy, like Bozo, she knew what time I came home from school. My mother in law used to say, "They are loaned to us for only a short time, then they go away" well done Beth, good luck, blessings Roy

This is so good!! I had a little cocker spaniel when I was about 5 years old... A big ugly dog tried to chase me and bite me...Goldie threw herself at him and was terribly wounded...she crawled under the house and I slept in the dirt by her side, giving her some liquid a vet had sold us... Oh, this story is so well-told - look at the memories it brought to me - thank you, dear one!!

Aren't dogs amazing? They can be so brave when they feel they need to protect the humans. I love the fact you slept under the house with your dog. I would have slept with mine if my parents had allowed . Thank you so much for the great review and the six stars.

Ah, the mysterious stranger arrives, thrives, then seems to defy logic. Finally, the stranger disappears as mysteriously as he had appeared.
This is a wonderful story, Beth, and a mysterious bone to gnaw on.
