A well written poem on the nature of jealousy. Some consider the obsession of jealousy a disease of the mind. It is certainly unhealthy, and selfish to boot. You brought it out well in your example.

The feel of jealously so intriguingly explained. Who hasn't let their brain wander into this vile emotion that eventually takes hold. The last paragraph reveals the creepy outcome, an unexpected twist.
