I continue to enjoy your story. Amazing how the short, terse dialogue gets the information out and give your characters their distinct personalities. It's a fun read, Bob. It moves fast and easily holds my interest.Fun stuff.

This passage made me laugh, dicrimination in the fae world:) "Creteus whirled on the leprechaun. "No, no. Don't apologise. You did what anyone with an ounce of pride, an ounce of dignity would do. They treat us like vermin, like rats. Well, sometimes rats bite. They need to understand that."

"Doesn't help me now though."

"No, no, indeed not. Do you have any other skills?"

"You mean apart from dancing a jig? No human is going to hire me, anyway, not now, even if I had a degree in accountancy."

"Tea's up," said George. Peter glanced at the bedside table. Two mugs steamed there. Creteus took them both without rising and passed one to Peter." Thank you for sharing and good luck with the next chapter.

Bob,

Hmmm... Okay. This thing with George seems to be turning out in a positive way. He has him a nice room with all the amenities that he absolutely needs. Good. But I do not understand how Creteus fits in to this. He wasn't there when Peter first arrived and George didn't say anything (that I remember) about already having a roommate (did he?).

Though I am glad he has given Peter a job of sorts - that is a good turn of events for sure - I'm a bit concerned with where it may lead. I will be watching to seeeeee..... you can bet that. Uh huh.

BTW, I have been meaning to ask you and always forget. Where did the name Snodlander come from?

Thanks so much!

Creteus was there at the end of the last chapter. I had it in mind that he was just visiting. George may or may not have told Creteus about Peter's situation and Creteus saw an opportunity to recruit him.

As far as my nickname is concerned, I used to live in a village called Snodland, hence I am the Snodlander (there can be only one)

many thanks as always for your review.
