I feel like I'm watching an episode of "Call the Midwife" when reading this, but it's not one of the old nuns helping to give birth. That baby ended up just sliding right out. I wonder how many people feel awkward reading a chapter like this. I know most guys probably might skim over the chapter.
It was a good read, and I didn't see any errors on this one.

Someone else said that. LOL. The strange thing, I had a few sixes from MEN! So they aren't all squeemish, lol. Thank you so much for another lovely review, David. I've appreciated them all. Warm hugs. Sandra xx

I'm glad that the men were reading the chapter and responding as positively to the chapter. The writers on here seem to be pretty mature for the most part. I remember when I was in high school and our physiology teacher had us watch a baby being born. Most of the people in the room were disgusted by the sight of the actual event. I'm not sure that they really show something like this nowadays in school, but the guys would always run from the video. I wonder how most of them feel now as they've become adults and have families of their own.
One of my favorite movies that I like to watch is Jerry Lewis' old movie called Rock a Bye Baby, and the ending scene with him in the hospital reacting to his wife giving birth to five babies was hilarious.

A six-star performance by Tania. Who'd have thought she would ever be in a situation like this and come through with flying colors. They all handled it well and the lovely baby was born.

Aw, thank you, Ralf! I enjoyed writing this part, it was fun to write trying to put myself in that position. I decided in the end, that any one of us would cope if we found ourself alone with a pregnant lady about to give birth. At least, I hope we would. Quite scary, really! Lol. Thank you so much for the sixth star, my friend. Sending you a warm hug! :)) Sandra xxx

Sandra:
I am sorry I am so late reviewing this wonderful chapter. I think it is right on point as far as this type of situation goes. At least they were in a relatively safe situation when the baby was delivered. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much, Sanku! It was a lovely surprise to win that, I've not come down from the clouds yet! Lol.
Yes, not many babies can boast being born in the eye of a hurricane! I doubt many mothers would want it either. :) I'm so pleased you liked this part, it took a while to write, and it seems it was worth it as everyone enjoyed it. Thanks, my friend. Warm hugs! :)) Sandra xx

Tania certainly rose to the occasion, and acted like she knew what she was doing and in control. Grant especially is proud of her. It seems that Latifah and the baby made it through safely with no problems, Excellent characterization and attention to details. judi

Thank you, Judi, that is such a lovely review. I think whenever we are faced with what seems an impossible situation, we will get on with it and panic afterwards! Lol. Warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

what a beautiful baby girl that was welcomed into the world. It seems when suddenly a person has to do things without any before hand information, it turns out just fine.

Wonderful job with this chapter! I like how Tania took charge and delivered the baby. It's also how she handled herself and looked like that perfect mom that seals Grants feelings for her.
Teeny suggestion to remind the reader that the sterilization happened:
grabbing the pegs from Grant (sterilized pegs?)

Thank you, Helen, and thanks for that suggestion. I'll do that now. It's been a slow process, but the feelings are there for both of them. Now to see which one will break the stalemate! I'm so glad you liked this part. Thanks, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

I haven't read any previous parts of this story, but found this chapter to be compelling reading - and was very happy that everything ended well. Will be looking forward to subsequent chapters. Well written.

I think you've described the birth very well. I just have one suggestion:
Thankfully, Latifah hadn't any underwear on so Tania was able to take a look. - I might have said 'Thankfully, Latifah wasn't wearing any underwear so Tania could easily see what was happening.'
With best wishes

Thank you, Judy, that is much better. I've changed that sentence now. I had to mention the underwear because I'm sure someone would pass a comment had I not. LOL.
Thank you again, my friend. Warm hugs. Sandra xxx
