Yes, we always have to cut out time in our lives for a lot of things. I read, write and do jigsaw puzzles. I envy you that you can make things grow. I have a black thumb not an green one.
At least you let one hobby inspire the other. Good use of both

Yes, I understand perfectly. I love gardening too, but need to do it in smaller doses. And a couple of other hobbies .... Not enough hours in the day! A clever poem, very enjoyable to read. Your garden as it comes together and blooms will inspire more poetry!
