This is certainly a polarised point-of-view. You express yourself without ambiguity in the clearest of terms. I know little of the politics of the USA, but it saddens me to see such a great nation so divided.

It saddens me, too, Tony, and with the House and the Senate in the hands of the Far Left, it is agonizing to sit, helplessly by, unable to do anything to stop it. I know my post is polarised, but over 75 million people voted for Trump - who may not have been the most reserved person in his comments, but he loved this country and had us in great shape, economically, with out allies, etc. He put this country first and worked 7 days a week. Biden is a pathetic puppet who is ruining this country, so yes, I am speaking out.

Since the moment the colonists stood together and decided to battle for freedom and justice for all ... the United States of America became a melting pot of beliefs, thoughts and ways of life. And most definitely, everyone has an opinion. the problem is that everyone also thinks theirs is the right one... the only one. Somewhere along the line that strong desire to bond as one has chipped away as if the thirteen colonies were forming again. The brave and courageous men and women who fought for this country.. fought for all of us... not certain ones. Their blood was shed for whites, blacks, rich, poor, young and old. Their lives were given to support our beloved flag and what it stands for and we should honor them for that. America is strong when we pull together... not in different directions. Have a blessed day and honor our fallen... Smiles, Carol

Carol, I am aware of that, but it was not founded on socialism which the radical Left in power is forcing on this country. The fallen didn't fall for this. If the American people cannot see what is happening to this country and do something about it, they will wake up one day in shock at what they let happen.
Memorial Day honors true Americans who gave their lives defending their country. I think they would be much saddened that the living aren't willing to defend it, also.
