You create such a vivid, heartbreaking atmosphere using so few words! It is like a whole story in these 25 words. The last line is a plot-twist. Really well done, dear author!

    I counted the half-empty as one word because both the word processor and FanStory counted it that way. I am assuming that's why your count was different. At least, I hope that's the discrepancy. Thank you for your review!

The author's words are sad, descriptive and creative. I pondered on
these words and thought about how blessed many of us are not to
endure this life style. The poem flows and connects well. The artwork
is great and compliments these words.

Well, this certainly sums up the topic of an unexpected breakup, well done! I particularly liked "decaying daisies" and "no forwarding address". This is a great entry for the 25-word poem contest, I wish you the best of luck!

This is an excellent poem for the contest
with very good description
of many of the images of a relationship gone back.
Hopefully, one recovers to find happiness with someone else.
