Hi Melissa yes the camellia is a pretty flower I have one down my drive and it is lovely when in bloom and a favourite with my daughterinlaw

Hi Chris. I am so glad we share a love for camellias. There are so many types and cultivars that I will not be able to collect them all... too bad :). Thanks for the lovely comments.

This is beautiful - both the photo and the words of your poem! April Love is a diva - all dressed up in her pink gown, ready for the springtime ball. I love camellias - might consider planting one of these bushes myself. This should do well in the contest. well done!

Because I live in the sub-tropics, winter is just a lovely cooler summer. My hibiscus is 10 yrs old, I don't feed it, gave it a haircut and it's still blooming! Take care love, Kace. xx
