It is useful for others to realise how difficult it is for many people in wheel chairs to move around. They are very reliant on railway staff and others to be 'on the ball'.

YES! You are not wrong! It has scared Louise a bit about us getting out in the trains and stuff, more. Thanks for coming by. I have some Youtube of videos and stuff I have done on train travels. Will try and put some links to those in here, someplace.

You did a good job with your ramble. I enjoyed reading it. You talked of many things in your life. I like the part about meeting your friend from back in the day. Also, I liked the part about how you left that job and found another in a week. Your pictures are supportive.
Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

Thanks, Jan appreciate your detailed review. Possibly in this chapter I added a link only this morning to the poem I wrote about the walker. Everyone admits I am walking much better with it.

It is good that you two are still able to travel together and most of the time train staff is helpful. The story was full of mix-ups and minor aggravations. You are fortunate that Australia takes care of the medical cost. That isn't the case here. I would have to pay a lot for a power chair and cost of repairs would be mine. I enjoyed reading your ramble. Keep them coming.

Yes, but what we get costs taxpayers, which we both were for in my case just over 30 years. Thanks for coming by.

Very interesting. You could write articles with travel tips for the handicapped. How fortunate that they were able to repair Louise's power chair. It's great that you are able to travel and see friends, especially now that you don't have your car. The U.S. doesn't have such a great public transportation system, except in the large cities. Sounds like you enjoyed your visit to Hornsby as it gave you a chance to reminisce about old times there. judi

Thank you for always keeping us posted on how you and your wife are doing. I get upset at people who do not do their job and I am grateful that the chair did not break down while on a trip.

I think I understand about the power chair. I have a friend who uses one given by the VA. They seemed to have trouble staying charged. He keeps his plugged in most of the time. Good, you had a nice train crew to help you guys.
Thanks for sharing, SANKEY.

Thanks Bro glad you are still around. The chair charges over night. Seems charging was only the tip of the iceberg in this case.

Wow, you two had quite a misadventure on your trip. Not only did people not show up when they should to help you, but you were forced to sit on your rollator in less than safe conditions.
Your wife is very beautiful and has a nice smile. I'm sorry her chair broke down. Independence is so very important in life!
Thanks for sharing your story,
Rhonda

I'm glad your survived the chair break down, and finish up in Hornsby. My goodness, you both are so brave to travel about. I'm not as brave in long distances. I'm a real homebody. I see you are all bundled up as your winter approaches. Temps in the 90s here. ;))
You must've chose "Post a Poem" because this is formatted for poetry. I would ask Tom the Administrator how to fix this for your book. I would lend advice, but I'm not sure how to do it.
Sending you both my best and blessings always,
Sal XOs....

This adventure was well written in detailed out it made you feel that you were actually there.
I couldn't find any grammar issues in there was excellent theme as well as imagery.
...
Adjective Contents and Objective Contents were both Excellent and Exceptional while Descriptive Measures align perfectly.
