Very inventive, Jude. I liked this a lot. There seem to be a lot of these vampires around who enjoy sucking the life out of others' happiness, getting pleasure from bringing upset. You've let the reader come to their own conclusion about what the vampire is living on, with well directed details and the satisfied burp at the end.

Good

I came to see a monster out on the prowl. Looking for a victim to satisfy their hunger. But the ending did not sit well with me. She did or did not get her meal? Who did she eat? Why did she just walk away?

There were several paragraphs that was not spaced correctly and it also threw me off while I was reading.

I do like, though, the mystery of the character. I wonder about why she is on the prowll. So, I was hooked in that sense.

Thanks for the review. She feeds on the happiness of others. As she walks by, their happiness disappears. She was full after the wedding party because there was so much happiness to feast on, haha.
