interesting choice of title. Pretty good opening and second paragraph. Interesting premise, a vampire who eat dog. But why dogs and why pet, she can easily devour a cow or target stray dog

Vampirism is a bad enough condition, but to also be hooked on the taste of dog flesh is an even sicker affliction and addiction. Snaking on the neighborhood's pet population guarantees strict opposition from the outraged populace. Unfortunately for them, of course, is the fact that vampires are not that easy to kill. This was a unique departure from the usual stories told about vampires and vampirism. Good job.

Snaking on the neighborhood's pet population guarantees strict opposition from the outraged populace. Unfortunately for them, of course, is the fact that vampires are not that easy to kill. This was a unique departure from the usual stories told about vampires and vampirism. Good job.

"How else could one vampire keep on living on some other (taste? )". PREY?
One doesn't live on taste.
"She attacks them and eats the raw meat inside their bodies." This is a weird expression..
(She lives on dog blood) vampires drink blood not eat raw meat

That's so sad a story! I would have hoped some nice neighbor invited her to try tomato juice instead and then she changed her diet. Oh well. Some terrible things don't change. Best wishes in the contest.
Suggest to change the word order of this sentence:
Not really their favorite vampire the neighbors would love to have around, but it will do.
Maybe something like:
She's not really the favorite neighborhood vampire, ...
