I like your great take on the wrinkles. You say a lot with the second line referring to the "lifeline of experience" which is more a palm reading term. Best wishes in the contest!

I could have said lifetime, but I thought the lines in the woman?s face were more appropriate. The palm reading is a good analogy. Thanks too for your support of my post.

There is such great strength in the faces of some old people. It is as if, as your poem so succinctly states, a whole life's experience is etched upon them. A good entry for the contest.
