The human body is a mystery but we must listen to the human body. And we must listen to our brain. If our brain tells what we should do and not do; and it doesn't feel right, just don't do it. No one wants to be a slave for anybody; not even for television or the theatre.

Hello Iza.

I enjoyed your story in the encounter of getting your left-wing jabbed with the Coronella juice. I laughed when you said the right-wing started to feel sympathy for the left one and it hurt in the same place. The human body is a mystery. You are so right.

Robert

I'm thrilled your friend is recovering well, Iza. You did a great job with this side of the vaccine--kind of a rant, but not too condescending. It is odd about your right arm. It sounds like sympathetic pain. Take care.
Respectfully, Jan

Perhaps your right arm is a "attached" to its "twin" on the opposite side, that sheer empathetic feeling of being an identical twin, he said, "You take the jab, I'll take the pain, share and share alike they say. Well done Iza, blessings Roy.
PS your writing getting better, well done.

Yesterday it was announced in the US by the CDC if you are fully vaccinated you don't need to wear your mask any longer. I went to the grocery store today and about half still wore their mask. I did only because I had minor surgery today and am not sure my immune system is where it should be today. I probably won't wear it the next time.

Your Coronella saga continues, Iza. I'm so sorry to hear that a good friend of yours was hit with the virus before he got vaccinated. Wishing him the best. But you manage to find some humour in the whole story, that of your right arm being sore in sympathy of your left. Fun read.

Another great post in the coronavirus saga. It seems to go on and on. You really bring in the human elements here of worrying over friends, and also important is that you articulate the loneliness of this disease, how you have to deal with it alone, in the dark, cut off from friends and family and the people who support you. It really is hard to recover without that love from family that is so important. We need to feel loved, we need to feel needed, in order to tap into that spiritual energy of healing. It probably is more important than the vaccine. Interesting little note at the end of how your nerves mixed up the pain in your arms. I've heard of things like this over the years, but it is odd. I get shot number two of Pfizer Wednesday, so hopefully I won't get too sick. we'll see...estory

Iza,

I wonder if your friend is saying, 'ARRRGGGHHH - I should have been with Iza in that vaccine line!' hahahaha

This was a nice read to start my day off with a smile. I always enjoy your silly sense of humor. Thanks!

Those sympathy pains will get you every time...hope it doesn't spread to the rest of your body. As for your friend, humor at his expense was a nice chuckle this morning too. Smiles, Carol

Another tour de force of dark humor about the scourge of Corona--dreadful story about your friend--strange about the sympathy pain--my friend has maintained for four months that he still feels the jab.
