I enjoyed your poem - it set the scene in a lovely sensory way, visually and with the scent of lilac. I wonder if you had chosen an image with a lilac colour it might have enhanced the poem more?

Spring does have a way of creeping up on us. You enable us to visualize the budding trees and the bees flitting around their blossoms. We can also smell the lilac in the breeze.
