Didn't really see any errors in this chapter. Super short to read through, and interesting on the information on the English terms used. I'm still feeling there's someone lurking around from the previous chapter. I guess I'll find out in the next chapters. Hope the move you mentioned was a good one.

It was a short one, wasn't it!! Lol, unusual for me. Keep those feelings going, you'll soon find out. Thanks so much for another lovely review, my friend. I'm glad you are still enjoying it. Hugs, and smiles. Sandra xx

I guess we'll see when I read a bit more tonight. I'm hoping to get on and go through some more chapters and stories from other people.

With all of the frightening possibilities facing Tania, this would be the most frightening. A hurricane in not something you can control and they are deep in the throes of one. Latifah's contractions are now the main concern of all, I'm sure. What comes next? A very dire situation indeed!

secretly as pleased()Punch that he liked them so much. s/b pleased 'as' Punch

Thank you so much, Ralf, for this lovely review and those lovely stars. I went back and corrected that. I'm really glad you spotted it. I'm sorry I've not been keeping up with yours, (and everyone elses) but I think this week will be a lot easier and I'll over to yours and find out what I've been missing. Thank you for being so understanding, my friend. Warm hugs. Sandra. xxx

Hi Sandra...well this was just full of excitement and anticipation. Yikes, a hurricane and potential birth of a baby? What a devious plot. I've never been anywhere near a hurricane and I'll have to take your description at face value. Another great write.

Hi, Linda! I've been so worried about you, I sent a reply after you emailed me but somehow only half of it went!!

Now, my darling lady, who has told Rapier where Grant and Tania are? This is what Grant and I both want to know. He has told me he will find out, and from his tone, I know he means business! I'll be sure to tell you who the traitor is as soon as I know! Goodness me, you can't trust anyone these days!
Thank you so much for the six, and this fabulous review. I know it's a horrid time for you at the moment so it is especially nice of you. I'm going to email you again, and hope I can finish it before it shoots off into space. Love you lots, my dear friend, I'm thinking of you all the time. Hugs, and love, Sandra xxxxxxx

Hello Sandra.
Another wonderful chapter for the story. Your description of the hurricane
is right on the money. I've been in a few, and they can be intense.

Perhaps Monica should open a muffin shop. She could become rich selling
"the best muffins in England." Jeff can be the doorman enforcing a "must wear masks" policy. Monica could become known as the masked muffin lady.

I had a feel the timing of the hurricane and the new baby might coincide.
Sandra never misses an opportunity for drama.

Well done, my friend.
Hope all is calm and you're all moved in.
Best wishes.
Robert

Hmm, with Monica and her muffins, and Mildred with the scones, I think I should get some commision, don't you? Lol.
We are in our new home and it's lovely, Robert, I couldn't be happier. I'm near my sons and their families again, and they will be popping in and out for chats and cups of tea. My nightmare has become a wonderful dream.
Thank you so much for the lovely review and all those stars. It was such a lovely sight to see as I came back on the Internet. It seemed like weeks, not days! I shall be reviewing tomorrow, now, I'm off to bed. Thanks again, my dear friend. Warm hugs. :)) Sandra xxx

Well done Sandra - a good chapter. ' 'I believe we've just been hit by the inner wall of the hurricane. It's the fastest, most destructive part, which means we should soon be entering the eye.' You are savvy on the science of hurricanes LOL! By the time you read this you will, I hope, be settled into your new home. Moving home is a nightmare - I don't think I could bear it. It's not furniture, etc. That's a doddle. It's all the precious clutter, LOL! It is so like you to still manage to write your chapter which, incidentally is well written. The only little tiny point - 'tummy' is OK in speech - but in prose it is too personal. I think stomach sounds better. But, that is just my opinion. Good work - and hope you are settled in to your new home. I wish you much happiness in your new abode - take care- love Dorothy xxx

Hi, Dorothy. Yes, we are in! And, oh, it's so nice. They are new bungalows, and so spacious, and the best part, we are back in the Test Valley near my sons and their families again. It's been a nightmare moving, but my boys helped us all the way, I'm so proud of them. You mentioned the precious clutter, well mine all came with me!! The next time it gets sorted, my boys will have the pleasure, because I will be in another new home in Heaven, well, I hope that's where I'll go. Lol.
Now I'll soon be able to concentrate on getting this book finished.
Thank you so much for reading this part, and the lovely revie and the six stars. I'll sort out the 'tummy' bit. I think you're right about that.
Thank you for your best wishes, my dear friend, I just know we are going to be happy here. Warm hugs and much love. Sandra xxx

Sandra:

I am thankful not to have to be moving at my age - anything I do at my age takes a lot out of me!

Thanks for explaining the origin of stockstill - I had no idea! So, how many people can say they gave birth in the "eye" of a hurricane as it appears Latifah might.

We are exhausted! This is definitely a young persons thing, not for us senior citizens! We have discovered aches and pains in places we didn't know we had. We are in now, and have just been connected to the internet, hence my reply! Thank you so very much for reading, Jan, and I'm glad you like the snippet of info on the origin of Stock still. It was an eye-opener for me as well. Warm hugs, my friend. :))Sandra xxx

Another great chapter, Sandra. What a clever lady you are, writing such an exciting chapter in the same week as you're moving house! I take my hat off to you. Of course Latifah had to go into labour, but I wouldn't doubt you'll have a few tricks up your sleeve to save the day.

I can't wait to read on!

Love and hugs,
Alexis xxx

Hi Alexis, thank you so very much for this lovely review and all the stars! We are now on Internet!!!!!!!! You're doing a wonderful job writing this. I am wondering if we're going to have a baby in the very near future. I am also worried about the Rapier. I have a feeling we've not heard the end of him.

Sitting next to her he placed his hand gently on her swollen tummy just in time to receive a hefty kick. (Humans - Sitting beside her....)

Aw, thank you so much, Barbara, for this lovely review and the six stars. I've been without the Internet for a few days, and it's been awful!! We are now in our new home, and it's so lovely. But we still have boxes to unpack, I can't wait for it all to be over. Thank you again, my friend. I'll be reviewing again from tomorrow. Warm hugs. Sandra xxx

Contractions? I hope the baby waits....to get to the hospital might be a little questionable when a hurricane is occurring. But it might keep the big bad wolf (Rapier) from finding them, too.

Hi Rosemary, sorry for the late reply, we've just moved home and I've only just had my internet connected. It's been like half of me was missing! Lol.
Thank you so much for the lovely review, I'm delighted to see you are still enjoying my story. Latifah has to get to the mainland to get to the hospital, so it could be a bit tricky. We shall see! Warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx
