This is a pretty effective piece. The 3-6-9 requirement is there, of course, but the rhyming scheme was unexpected and nice. I really enjoyed the way the first lines in each stanza worked to give us some contrasting cadence. Nice work!

Im glad you enjoyed it. It is a mountain range in Colorado that my mother loved. She took us on vacation there with our dad as kids!
