I like the way horizon, dark clouds and funeral give a sad image, yet it says we are all going upwards, though the artwork is a cemetary, very well written****kahpot

Another fine poem, Gypsy--and another perfect picture that wound have made a groovy album cover for our band, since everyone knows that heavy metal music is a direct pipeline to evil; 'Welcome to the stage and abandon all hope; put your cloven hooves together for, The Beelzabuddies!'

So, ominous dark clouds mean a funeral party is coming or has come. That is a stretch of the imagination, I would venture...yet, your guess is as good as mine. I admit that dark clouds set a mood of foreboding in many who believe in the weather predicting bad situations. There is always the notion of 'earthquake weather,' which has never been scientifically proven but, nonetheless, many folks still believe the folklore. So, you write a pretty haiku and predict a funeral party. I'll buy it, or buy into it, as the case may be. Thanks for sharing and for letting me go on about the weather.
Have a wonderful day,
Jesse

Hello, Jesse, the point of haiku poetry is to capture a nature's moment in time. In this case, I was hoping you visualize the ominous dark clouds over the cemetery during a funeral. You are already in a sad mood and the gloomy sky reflects that.
Thank you very much, Jesse, for reading and reviewing my poem.

That picture really shows those dark and ominous clouds over the cemetery. And though the imagery is dark and gloomy, the last line shows an oxymoron of a "funeral party." And yet, to think about it, at funerals we do celebrate a life.
