Hello, wow you do have an adventurous child there. Thank Goodness neither of my kids did anything like that.
This is a sweet and loving story, though alarming. I think my heart would skip a beat as well. Charming child she is.

A well written flash story. I saw no areas that need revisiting. A very cute picture, I assume is your granddaughter. I've seen some pretty tough entries to this contest, but your post should be a strong one. Bill

Well, I know that feeling! I originally thought to give this four stars, but I re-read it a couple more times. I'm glad I did. You told a very good, relatable story in a few words. I appreciated the "devilish grin" and the reason why this happened (Cookie?). Nice work, Shawn.
