This is a sweet love poem, simply told. You avoided the purple prose many poets use to describe the passion of meeting the love of their life. It sounds like the fount of love was deep without flooding over and drowning the reader in. Also, your love came from a spiritual place and ended with the sanctity of marriage. A lovely poem. It should do well in the contest.

Absolutely gorgeous! you've described the stages of the meeting, falling in love, and make a promise forever in God's eyes.... Outstanding!

I remember my wedding and wish my husband was here with me so I could read him this part. Maybe he's looking over my shoulder and knows you've touched me heart. Smiles, Carol
