In August? That doesn't seem right, my second shot came 21 days after the first and so did my husband's. Well, if that's what they told you. I just don't understand, but I'm far from an expert.

This is really good work, Iza. I love satire, and I really think you have a distinct talent for writing these longer pieces. There is wit and viciousness in this tale, in fairly equal measures. That is so difficult to do, yet you did it. Keep on writing, Iza. You're very good at it.

Iza, I'm so disappointed that you are having a third wave in Canada. We are doing great in the states. (knocking on wood.) Hopefully the jabbing here will keep the count low and the pandemic will remain way low....

I am so happy to hear that, here it's so bad, we are locked in our own cities and we can travel anywhere because we will be fined:(

I think its another great post that illustrates or articulates the frustrations in dealing with bureaucracy and all the contrived protocals in trying to get your vaccination. It all seems like roadblocks in a road the way you have to prove your vocation, with an id, and try to come up with a medical reason to cut the line. You would think they would make it easier, with a lockdown on. I am often reminded of what Dostoevsky said: "When you remove God from culture, then the state becomes your God." estory

Hello my friend, your line from Dostoyevsky got my eye, you are so right, take God away and the humanity will stumble to its own death.

My goodness, Iza, you went to a lot of trouble to avoid getting the vaccine, and then to find a place where you could get it! At least you got some sleep. And I wouldn't worry too much about the microchip. We all know what you're up to anyway. lol

I, too, must face the music of that shot in the arm. I waited till after my surgery because I am allergic to far too many medications and feared any reaction. Now surgery is done so I have no excuse. I must get myself going and get it done. Smiles, Carol

My wife and I had our first "jab" yesterday, and I believe a side affect is drowsiness, but none of that now. A friend of our who a sleeping disorder fell asleep at the wheel in his car after the inoculation, I think he's alright, but he wrote his car off, poor bloke. Well done Iza, blessings Roy
Typo : But not on (a) daily basis.

Naughty but nice to read! An insight into a global topic. To be, or not to be? The writing is casual with a condiment of satire. Tongue-in-cheek description of the process for vaccination.
"but it didn't worked" indicates that editing will be a good choice. Best wishes

I feel your frustration. Well done!
First of all the medical affair IS my own business
went to see my doctor, WHO has strongly recommended Moderna. Yup, I preferred the "third eye", RATHER than being a Pfizer modified homo sappiens=>SAPIENS
You know me [comma OMIT than] I am a charming kitty, so I got a letter from my doctor that strongly recommends Moderna. Then I went on the provincial website for Coronella. Kuddos=>KUDOS to them:
So I started calling left and right and see if I COULD fool the system
On the first call, I was honest [SEMICOLON] I told them that I have a thyroid condition aka eighty percent is gone. Well, thanks TO God I don't have any of that. To tell you the TRUTH I will not compromise my health just to get the vaccine. THERE must be another way to get in the "privileged circle".

Well, I'm glad you got your first vaccine and I pray that you get your second before you travel. Thanks for the update. I remember the first part that you shared. So glad you got that "jab." No worries. So far I don't know anyone who developed a third eye.
Pfizer modified homo sappiens (sapiens)
To tell you the true I (truth)
I just think that God shield me (shielded)

Hi Helen I got a good laugh, I just received an e-mail that is telling me that I am eligible now, if I know:) I could've waited my turn with less fuss:)
-
But you were pressured by the workplace. So I'm glad you got it done. Hopefully, you won't have to wait too long until your second "jab."
