Congratulations on placing in the Star Wars contest. Your Haiku is creative and perfect for the photograph you chose. It looks as though Yoda is actually speaking. Well done.

    I don't know if the syllable count matters in the contest, but I just reviewed most of them in it and they used the 5-7-5 format. I wasn't sure at the time if it mattered. You have 5-5-7. You could contact the sponsor directly with a private message and ask, or you could change it up a little. On FS, haiku is often seen as a 5-7-5 poem. I wanted to let you know.

Your haiku pretty well summarizes Yoda's importance in the Star Wars epics while expressing a key theme. We are reminded of the "force" as well as the "dark side" epitomized by Darth Vader.
