This is a great bit of flash. There's no such thing as "just a dog." We had six, and each had a distinct personality. All were loving, but all expressed themselves in unique ways. I have no doubt that your Sissie is a "little girl." Happy Birthday to her.

Cute. She looks more like a queen in that pic than a dog, basking in the love (and on the couch) of her doting owner. Happy 15th, and many more to what-cha-ma-call-it. lol You never actually mentioned her name. My guess would be Daisy. Very sentimental and sweet flash-fiction. Great job.

Thank you for pointing out my not mentioning her name. It is Sissie. I have added in my notes there under the story. That is her usual position as we roll along in our RV. Looking out the windows is beneath her. Glad you like my celebration of my girl!
