Another good entry for Gypsy's Jisei Haiku club! You paired a perfect picture for your poem.

I have an alternative version for your last line: joy on morning tide(s).

IMHO it connects better with your '.. calm waters'

Poetry is so much fun to write and consider alternate versions for words or phrases.
