I didn't know about the Netflix show, I'll have to check it out. But I know there have been so many times that I've read a comment on someone's post and I want to write a rebuttal. I will let it roll around in my mind what I wanted to say, then I'll finally give it a rest because it finally sinks in that that person is not going to change their views on my comments and that they're not worth my time. It's a constant struggle, and I hate it but can't quit, because there are good parts of it too.

Yeah. I am able to keep in touch with relatives in other countries, and friends who have moved to other states via social media. I still do snailmail though!

I had to look up "limerance" and am now enlightened. But from your notes, it doesn't seem to be a case of "limerance" but something even more annoying. I liked how you built up the emotional drama and added dialogue with self into your rhyming poem! Best wishes in the contest!

Nope, I can't say the social media triggers me or even that it is something that I notice. Your poem is very interesting. I like both rhymes and near rhymes in each stanza.
I do agree with you. Life is too short to let things you can't control upset you.
